There are several important aspects to building a convincing model railway, I think that scenery is the most important of all.  As mentioned in the planning page, this helps create an overall feel for the landscape being modelled and can really contribute to creating ‘atmosphere’ which, to me, is all important.

Many tried and tested techniques have been documented on scenic techniques, so I won’t go over old ground on subjects irrelevant to this layout.  What i’m hoping to do is to show how I have achieved the results on the finished layout for various different aspects of the scenery.
