About this site
This site describes the construction of my 4mm scale narrow gauge layout, Isle Ornsay. It is the Southernmost terminus of a proposed line on the Isle of Skye, part of 4 railways proposed under the Hebridean Light Railway Proposal of 1898.
The other aspect of this site is to describe both proposed and constructed narrow gauge railways located in Scotland.
I occasionally describe places I've been, or things that I've enjoyed, but it all has a railway theme.
